Raising me, they tell me to live rightly
and when the sky is blue, to fly high

going to school, to study hard
and when I open a shop in the marketplace
to earn lots of money

One day frost struck down on my life
I came to stand alone on a hill with a long way to go
swept by cold wind, I knelt and closed my eyes
and was told to go down and live in that deep place

The baby who cried aloud when he was born
is told to become an elder who smiles as he departs
